How we calculate your savings
Our calculator uses the latest OFGEM energy price cap tariffs for Q2 2026 and typical annual energy consumption by property size. We compare your current heating costs against the estimated running costs of a heat pump, factoring in the Coefficient of Performance (COP) of modern heat pump systems.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant of £7,500 is deducted from the installation cost if you are eligible. The payback period shows how many years until your energy savings cover the net installation cost.
